REASONABLE STANDARD OF CARE IN NURSING HOMES

Posted By SALZMANN FIRM || 12-Mar-2014

w

The notion of moving your beloved parents into a nursing home is heart-wrenching for most people. When your elderly relatives are no longer able to live independently or be cared for by family, a nursing home is often the best of very few options.

Like any facility offering medical care, nursing homes must meet reasonable standards of care or may be found medically negligent. When visiting your family member, be sure to check to see that s/he is showering often enough, has clean clothing, and has a neat and orderly room. Be sure to also note any missing property or unexplained injuries.

The standard of reasonable care is set to protect our elderly loved ones, and if you suspect any injury is due to negligence or liability, contact your Orlando personal injury attorneys at Legally Pink Law today.
