WHEN IS A SPEEDING TICKET JUSTIFIED?

Posted By Legally Pink Law || 20-Oct-2014

velocità

At Legally Pink Law, we’re focused on providing excellent representation follow auto accidents for Central Florida residents and Orlando visitors alike. And as we’ve previously reported, speeding is the second leading cause of accidents in the United States today. While some cities may have problems like the recently disbanded Waldo Police Department, most Florida cities have relatively small revenue from speeding tickets.

An officer can issue a speeding ticket when you’re traveling at any speed above the posted speed limit. However, there are several reasons that challenging the ticket could lead to it being dismissed, such as poor calibration of the radar or poor visibility of posted speed limits.

Of course, speed safety is closely associated with road conditions. And today’s speed limits are set based on what’s known of safe traveling speeds in the area. Be sure to heed the posted limits and if you do find yourself in an auto accident, contact Carolyn Salzmann.
