Suzan focuses her practice on representing victims of personal injury and
wrongful death resulting from motor vehicle crashes, medical malpractice,
premises liability, and products liability.
Suzan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University
of Arizona and graduated
cum laude from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University College of Law.
While in law school, Suzan was recognized by the Central Florida Bankruptcy
Lawyers Association for her academic excellence in Bankruptcy Law, was
the recipient of numerous book awards and participated in Moot Court.
Suzan practiced as a certified legal intern in the Criminal Defense Clinic,
defending clients in criminal court. She also interned at Children’s
Legal Services, assisting the attorneys in representing children and families.
Additionally, Suzan is recognized in Entertainment Law and Business by
Elizabeth and William Henslee for her editorial contribution.
Suzan’s past careers have given her a unique understanding of insurance
companies and claim evaluations. Before attending law school Suzan she
was a licensed insurance agent where she sold automobile, home, watercraft,
and personal umbrella insurance policies. She was involved with hundreds
of claims and worked as a liaison between the insurance company and her
clients. Suzan also managed rental car operations at a large airport,
gaining extensive and invaluable experience in identifying and evaluating
the conditions of automobiles and assisting customers with their insurance claims.
Suzan is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Central Florida
Association of Women Lawyers, and the American Association of Justice.
She served on the Board of the Orange County Public School Foundation
and was a member of the inaugural class of Leadership Orange. Suzan is
currently serving on the Finance Board of College Park United Methodist
Church and dedicates her time to various local community organizations.
