BE AWARE OF YOUR CHILD CARE FACILITIES

Last year, Child Care Aware of America shared an article about accidents occurring daycares across the country and our Orlando lawyer wants you to take every precaution when it comes to finding a daycare for your child. The article entitled, “ Why Aren’t We Outraged? Children Dying In Child Care Across America” cited many incidents where children were fatally injured in their daycares.

“Tiny, white “onesies,” each bearing the name and age of a child in Missouri (who died in a child care setting since 2007), hung on racks in the rotunda of the state capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri, in February 2012. Nathan, Bridget, Cooper and 51 other infants and toddlers died in childcare and their parents joined other advocates in a rally calling for stronger childcare laws,” the article reported.

At Legally Pink Law, we know how important it is to you to make sure your children are 100% safe at all times. It can be nerve-wracking to put them in childcare, but sometimes it’s necessary so we want you to take the necessary precautions when choosing a daycare facility. Make certain that all of the workers in the center are have gone through a thorough background check, including a fingerprint check against state and federal records, as well as a check of the sex offender registry and child abuse registry.

“Increased awareness among parents, child care providers, public service agencies and the early childhood community is essential to protecting children’s health, safety and survival in child care” the article urges. So please speak up if you ever notice anything out of the ordinary. When a wrongful death is the result of medical malpractice, inadequate safety procedures, or unsafe products, bringing a wrongful death claim can help to ensure that bad doctors are disciplined, safety procedures are changed for the better, and unsafe products are either removed from shelves or redesigned so they are safer. If you need an Orlando Personal Injury Attorney then please give Legally Pink Law a call today to schedule an appointment with one of our attorneys.
